RW4 The Real World: London Sharon, a 20-year-old singer/songwriter, performs with her jazz funk band when she is not listening to Hue & Cry, U2, Tori Amos, Leslie Garrett and Enya. Raised in a single parent home, Sharon is very close to her mother. Sharon is English but considers herself an experienced traveler--she found the U.S. particularly enjoyable. Sharon is an affable young woman who was looking for something new in her life before she went on the show.

Sharon has been living in New York and working for NBC promotions and the Metropolitan Opera as well as pursuing her dream of singing. She and her new band, "Star 69," perform at various clubs in New York. Sharon now lives in Connecticut and commutes to Manhattan, where she continues to pursue her singing and songwriting career--and the completion of her first CD. She has worked in the past for NBC Promotions, the Metropolitan Opera and Sony Music.
